This first blog serves as our introductory post to introduce Dr. Tsolair Hovsepian and The Dental Studio. In doing so, I briefly discuss my shadowing experience at The Dental Studio as an aspiring dental professional.
The Dental Studio
This past summer, I was granted the opportunity to shadow Dr. Tsolair Hovsepian at her practice, The Dental Studio. I was immediately and warmly welcomed by Dr. Tsolair and her kind staff. As my shadowing experience began, I soon became immersed in their day to day dental procedures from an observer's perspective. I also had the unique opportunity to interact with patients who all had nothing short of positive comments towards Dr. Tsolair.
From what I have gathered, Dr. Tsolair is a Los Angeles native who pursued her dental education at the UCLA School of Dentistry, where she obtained her DDS degree in 2004. After working for several private dental practices, Dr. Tsolair eventually opened up her own practice, The Dental Studio, in the heart of Encino at the Plaza de Oro shopping center.
Throughout my shadowing experience, what caught my attention was Dr. Tsolair’s compassion, diligence, attentiveness, and dedication to her patients. As an aspiring dental professional, I was not only able to learn about various dental procedures through observation, but I was also able to experience and reflect upon the necessity to consistently maintain a high standard of care when treating patients, as flawlessly demonstrated by Dr. Tsolair and her staff.
In an effort to further express this high standard of patient care (in addition to further amplifying my learning experience), I have decided to team up with Dr. Tsolair and The Dental Studio to write a series of dentistry-based blogs. In doing so, I hope that you, the reader, will gain a higher degree of familiarity with dental topics that may be useful, especially during your next dental check-up visit!
